Morning update...
The xray this morning showed fluid back on Gavin's chest. They are going to try more lasix. His wbc came down a little bit. So they don't expect him to get discharged for a few more days. Faith is really discouraged and down so please lift her up in prayer along with Gavin. Thank you so much for everything!!! Mitzi

Faith and Adam. We had prayer for Gavin twice yesterday at church. We will continue to lift all of you up to our God in prayer, for healing for Gavin and strength for all of you. We are also praying for the doctors, as they treat Gavin. We love you. Jimmie and Maudie
Faith and Gavin, you're still in my prayers.
We're still praying for sweet Gavin's healing!!
How frustrating. Hang in there. You will continue to be in our thoughts and prayers. Take care.

We are praying for your entire family and that the lasix will work!!
Familiar with the fluid- but the way I look at it, his heart function is GOOD, and if there HAD to be anything, I choose the "most common" side effect of the Fontan, which is usually fluid. We just barely got our diuretic's decreased from Jack's pleural effusion. We are almost a month out from surgery. It is something that they can control and it is the body's way of trying to recover from so much stress. This too shall pass....keep up your spirits, Fatih, Gavin will start to feel better soon.
Sorry to hear about the fluid! We will continue to lift little Gavin up! Dear Lord, please elevate Gavin's wbc so that he can fight off any unwelcome "critters"! God has him and all of you in the Palm of His hand!!!!
Oh wow - this is such a frustration, particularly since he started his recovery with such a bang. We continue to pray and wish you all well. We will also continue to pray for the medical team caring for Gavin.
