Heart Cath Procedure Done

Gavin's procedure went great and the doctors say he is ready for the next surgery. The doctors were pleased with how "everything" looked on the inside from the first surgery. Gavin will be staying overnight in the hospital because he is having a little trouble with his oxygen levels; the doctors say this is normal for heart patients and especially so during the first 24 hours following surgery. Keep praying that all continues to go well! God is good!

Go Gavin! Yay for good news!

We're thinking of you all. Hope you get some rest tonight. And hey mom - STOP LOOKING AT THE MONITORS! ;-) (I know, it's impossible. But try!)

Glad to hear that the heart cath went well...we will continue to think of you as you prepare for Gavin's surgery. By the way I know how hard it is to stop looking at the monitors---I can remember just staring at my son's oxygen level as it went up and down (and BEEPED) all night long, but hopefully you can drift off to sleep. Thinking of you in Kansas
