ONE MONTH

Gavin is one month old today... we think he is a genius. He can already roll over, hold his pacifier in his mouth with his hands, and he puts his hands over his bottle. We are not crazy, we have witnesses! We cant believe he is already a month old and we have only had him home for a week!

Kim- we have had two opinions about going to church, one was that is the absolute worst place to take him, because everybody wants to touch him, and the other was that he would be fine if we kept him in the carrier and dont take him out. Which I am thinking yeah right, that is about the time for him to eat so he would not be happy in there! But we go to the cardiologist tomorrow, and I was planning on asking if we could take him around Christmas, because I want to go as a family to church for Christmas. So hopefully we will be there then, but probably not Thanksgiving time. We will see! It would be great to meet Adalie too!!!

Hey guys! It's Casey Buckles. Krissi told me about your page, so I thought I'd say hi. First of all, congrats and he is beautiful! I had a little boy too on Sept 16, and named him Gavin Patrick. Weird, huh? I sort of know what you guys went through. My Gavin was 5 weeks premature and his lungs weren't fully matured, so he had to stay in the NICU for a little over 2 1/2 weeks. That was absolutely horrible for me, so I can only imagine how hard it was for you guys. He looks wonderful though, and I'm glad to hear that he's doing better. I'll keep him in my prayers, but he's gotten this far so I'm sure he'll be great! If you need anything, I'll be glad to help in any way that I can. Feel free to call me... 706-2085. Congrats again!

He is so smart I'm sure he gets that from his grandparents ! ! ! !
Congrats on his accomplishments each day - I love being able to see his precious face even though I can't hold him yet - we need a good pic of all 3 of you now that he's home - I'll be waiting to see that soon!

I have been praying for you all the way up in Edmonton, AB. Canada. It is such an answer to those prayers when I see Gavin growing and so precious. We are moving back to B.A. OK. at the end of May and will look forward to maybe meeting Gavin Parker in person someday or at least reading about him in The Ledger when he scores the winning goal or touchdown in one of B.A.'s sports teams. Continued prayers from Ethel White
