Surgery update

The surgery did go well - a little longer than planned but there were some clotting issues. The word tonight from the doctors and nurses is that Gavin's blood is now clotting and his blood pressure and other vitals are great! Adam & Faith were able to spend time with Gavin tonight. Below are pictures from earlier this morning before the surgery.

We have all been praying this week for our newest OU fan! I'm sure you're the only mom there who can say there is a whole group of missionaries in Africa praying for their newborn! Thank you so much for the pictures. Everyone here agrees that he is the cutest little baby they've ever seen (except the 'moms' who of course claim that their baby was the cutest...not true...I've seen pictures.) We'll continue to pray fervently for Gavin's health and your own transition into parenthood! Love you!

Oh, he's precious, Faith!

BTW, if Adam wants to get in touch with Jay, heart-dad to heart-dad, he's at the same number as me, only 35 at the end instead of 36. :-)

I love the OU socks, he’s already on the right team!!! What a joy it is to see you both in the pictures with your precious gift from God. Truly God is the perfect creator of this universe and He has received so many petitions for the healing and health of your son. God knows all about your situation, He’s is there along side of you and with Gavin. We will continue to ask for healing and for you to grow in your faith. Read Psalm 91 and 121 when you get a chance. Gods blessing to you.
