Thank You!

Faith and Adam here, we wanted to take a moment to say thank you to everyone for your continued prayers! We also appreciate everyone who has come to OKC to visit and for all the food!! We are so blessed! We were discharged from the hospital today at noon. We spent the morning with Gavin and he is doing very well. He is breathing over the ventilator and he occasionaly opens his eyes and stares at us. He is so beautiful! We arent the only ones that think so, the nurses have been "fighting" over him on who gets to be his nurse for that shift. One of the nurses whispered to me today that they think he is the most beautiful baby there and they are sad that he will be moved upstairs after surgery. Just had to brag a little about our precious son! Tomorrow is surgery, he will be the secound case so sometime after lunch he will go in. We are trying to get as much rest as possible today before our long day tomorrow. We truly appreciate all the vistors, but after Gavins surgery we will ask that family only be allowed to see him. We want to keep him as healthy as possible and once he is better we will allow others to see him. Thank you again for your continued prayers, we believe that our son is a true miracle from God and he will be healed tomorrow! We love you all!

Albert and I have been praying hard for you. We will be coming to see you on Wednesday, and if Gavin's doing well, to see him too! You're right, he is a beautiful baby - definitely looks like Faith. :) You guys don't forget to take care of yourselves, too. See you soon.

There are MANY people around the country praying for you, your sweet baby boy, and all of the doctors, nurses, and specialists who will be taking care of him. Many of my friends from high school and college have asked about you guys; they are all praying, too. I know Tuesday (and the days to follow) will be stressful and scary, but continue to give your burdens to God and He will give you the comfort and peace that only He can. Be strong for Gavin and for each other, and know that your family, friends, and even strangers are continually lifting you up in prayer.

We love you and are praying for a great outcome!!

Adam and Faith - today will be a very long day for you both. My prayer is that you feel the power of the many, many prayers that are going to our heavenly Father for both of you and sweet baby Gavin. Please cloth yourself in the warmth of those prayers and wait patiently for the results. The doctors are included in those prayers. We love you all and he is a precious little boy - looks like Adam. We love you all and will look forward to an update. In Christian Love, Bruce and Karen

Adam & Faith,

You guys and Gavin are in our every thought and prayer today. We're praying for strength and courage for you; skill, knowledge, and compassion from the doctors; and for Gavin to feel the love everyone has for him and to feel God's strong arms surrounding him. We love you all three so much! And by the way, Gavin has got to be the most beautiful baby I've ever seen....and I'm not just a proud great-aunt talking either! :)

Your family has been on my mind all day. I know the fear of handing your precious newborn over to the surgeons who will care for baby. I will be diligently praying all day. I will pray for the skill of the doctors and nurses and that God will be holding their hands. I will be praying that the surgery will be successful and that Gavin will recover well and I will pray that the peace that only God can give will cover you today.

"But now, this is what the Lord says - 'Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have summoned you by name; you are mine. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire; you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze. For I am your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior.'" Isaiah 43:1-3

I hope you feel God's presence today.

Praying,
Kelly Julian
